ENRICO CARUSO (opera star)
Enrico Caruso was a famous Italian tenor opera singer and actor from the 1890s to the 1920s. Some of his movies include: The Splendid Romance, My Cousin, and Lucia di Lammermoor. Caruso was a smart businessman, embracing commercial recording at a time when other opera singers refused! Sadly, he passed away in 1921 at the age of 48, after an injury on stage led to an infection in his abdomen, taking over a year for Caruso to finally succumb.
