JOAN SHAWLEE
Joan Shawlee (also known as "Joan Fulton") was a TV and movie actress from the 1940s to the 1980s. She was a New York model who tried out for a play called "Franklin Street", but she lost the part to Lauren Bacall. She then got some sexy television roles, where she was billed as "Television's answer to Marilyn Monroe", and she was known for her beautiful legs. She next tried movies, but never hit the "big time", and her movies (in bit parts) included: From Here to Eternity, Some Like It Hot, The Apartment, Irma La Douce, and Buddy Buddy. Shawlee passed away in 1987 at the age of 61.
