ALAN HALE JR.

Alan Hale Jr. was an actor from the 1950s to the 1980s. He is best known for his role on TV's "Gilligan's Island" as the Skipper. Some of his movies include: Hang 'em High, The Giant Spider Invasion. Note that his father was the famous 1930s and 1940s actor Alan Hale Sr. (who appeared mostly in Warner Bros. movies, often with Errol Flynn), and he bore a remarkable resemblance to his father! He passed away in 1990 at the age of 68.
