ROBERT GUILLAUME

Robert Guillaume was a black African American movie and TV actor from the 1960s to the present. He is best remembered for his role as Benson in TV's "Soap", and its spin-off "Benson" (in the title role). Some of his movies include: Lean on Me, The Lion King (as the voice of Rafiki), and Big Fish. He was also a fine singer, and he played the lead in The Phantom of the Opera on stage. Guillaume passed away in 2017 at the age of 89.
