RUBY DEE

Ruby Dee was a black African American stage and screen actress from the 1940s to the 2010s. Some of her movies include: St. Louis Blues, A Raisin in the Sun, and American Gangster (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film). She was married to Ossie Davis for 57 years from 1948 until he passed away in 2005. She passed away in 2014 at the age of 91.
