MARIA GRAZIA BUCCELLA

Maria Grazia Buccella is an Italian glamour model and film actress, who was Miss Italy 1959. She represented Italy in the 1959 Miss Universe contest held in California, and was busy throughout the 1960s in numerous Italian and European films. She appeared in the Il Gaucho with Vittorio Gassman, The Secret Agents with Gassman and Henry Fonda, and with Peter Sellers in After the Fox. In 1968 she won a Silver Ribbon award at the Italian National Syndicate of Film Journalists for Best Supporting Actress in the film Ti Ho Sposato Per Allegria. Buccella was featured on the July 1977 cover of the Italian edition of Playboy magazine, and retired from films in 1979. As of 2023, she is still alive at the age of 82.
