ROCKY MARCIANO

Rocky Marciano was the legendary heavyweight champion professional boxer who remained undefeated throughout his career (he is the only heavyweight champion to do so!). He had a total of 49 professional fights, and won 43 of them by knockout. After boxing he made several television (TV) appearances and he appeared in a few movies including: College Confidential and The Knockout Parade. He passed away in 1969 at the age of 45 in a plane crash. One wonders that, if he hadn't have died, he might well have been enticed into a "comeback", as happened to so many other great champions, thereby potentially ruining his undefeated record!
