VIRGINIA CHRISTINE
Virginia Christine was a television and movie actress from the 1940s to the 1970s. She started in 1942, and appeared in a number of Warner Bros. movies, and was also a concert pianist, soprano, and dancer! Some of her movies include: The Killers, Judgment at Nuremberg, and Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
But she had her greatest fame in the 1960s when Folgers Coffee hired her to play Mrs. Olson in a series of commercials, always smoothing over problems for young couples by pouring them cups of coffee. She passed away in 1996 at the age of 76.
