EDMUND HILLARY

Sir Edmund Perceval Hillary was a New Zealand born mountain climber and explorer. He is best remembered for being one of the first two men to successfully climb Mount Everest (along with Tenzing Norgay) in 1953. He passed away in 2008 at the age of 88.
