BOB KANE
Bob Kane was an American comic book artist and writer from the 1930s to the 1990s. He is the co-creator of the legendary comic book hero, Batman (although he took sole credit for many years, but it eventually came out that not only did others create many of the Batman concepts, but he also drew little or no actual art, so other than the initial idea for Batman, it is not certain how much he ever actually did). He was inducted into both the comic book industry's Jack Kirby Hall of Fame in 1994 and the Will Eisner Comic Book Hall of Fame in 1996. He passed away in 1998 at the age of 83.
