ROBERTA SHORE

Roberta Shore (born Roberta Jymme Schourup) is a former juvenile actress and singer from the 1950s to the 1960s. When she started in acting in 1956 at the age of 13, she wanted to have a distinctive name, and she used her middle name, Jymme, and was billed as "Jymme Shore" briefly, but soon went back to her real first name! She had major roles in Disney movies (including The Shaggy Dog, and she was on many of the episodes of The Mouseketeers, although she was not an actual "Mouseketeer" because she was too tall) and sang with Lawrence Welk. She was Mormon, and when she entered her early twenties, she got married and completely left show business. Some of her other movies include: TV's "The Virginian", and The Young Savages. As of 2021, she is still alive at the age of 78!
