LUANA ANDERS
Luana Anders was an actress from the 1950s to the 1990s. She started in Roger Corman movies in the late 1950s, and she became friends with Jack Nicholson, who appeared in some of the same movies, and he cast her in Easy Rider and The Last Detail. Robert Altman says that he owes his career to Luana Anders, and Nicholson thanked her in his Oscar acceptance speech when he won for As Good As It Gets in 1998! Anders passed away in 1996 at the age of 58 from breast cancer.
