TELLY SAVALAS

Telly Savalas was an actor from the 1950s to the 1990s. His parents were Greek immigrants, and he was born in New York City. Some of his roles include: The Dirty Dozen, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, The Birdman Of Alcatraz (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), and the title character on TV's "Kojak". He passed away in 1994 at the age of 72.
