KARL FREUND
Karl Freund was an Austrian (in what is now the Czech Republic) cinematographer from the 1910s to the 1950s. He was responsible for development of the three-camera system used to shoot television situation comedies. Some of his movies include: The Good Earth, Metropolis, and The Thin Man Goes Home. He was also the cinematographer for TV's "I Love Lucy". He passed away in 1969 at the age of 79.
