SAM WOOD

Sam Wood was a producer and director from the 1920s to the 1950s. Some of his movies include: Ambush, For Whom the Bell Tolls, Kings Row (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Kitty Foyle (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Goodbye, Mr. Chips (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), and The Pride of the Yankees. He passed away in 1949 at the age of 66.
