VITTORIO DE SICA

Vittorio De Sica was a legendary Italian actor, director, and writer from the 1910s to the 1970s. He started out as an actor and he did not direct until 1940. Some of his movies include: Bicycle Thief, Farewell To Arms (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), and Shoeshine. He passed away in 1974 at the age of 73.
