RUTH ROLAND

Ruth Roland was an actress from the 1900s to the 1930s. She was a great success in serials of the 1910s, and she was an excellent businesswoman who invested her money wisely, and when sound came along, she made two movies only and then retired (apparently, she was good in the movies, but had grown tired of making them!). Tragically, she passed away in 1937 at the age of 45 from cancer.
