JOHN CANDY

John Candy was an actor from the 1970s to the 1990s. He rose to prominence on the Canadian "SCTV" show, and then switched to TV's "Saturday Night Live". Soon after, he made his mark in classic comedies (and some not so classic) including: Stripes, Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, Delirious, Only the Lonely, Canadian Bacon, The Great Outdoors, Cool Runnings, Uncle Buck, and Spaceballs. He passed away in 1994 at the age of 43 from a heart attack.
