JESSICA TANDY
Jessica Tandy was an English actress from 1930s to 1990s. She was married for a very long time to Canadian Hume Cronyn, another wonderful actor. Perhaps the highlight of her career was being the first actress to play Blanche Dubois in Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire on Broadway. Some of her movies include: Fried Green Tomatoes (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Driving Miss Daisy (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), and Cocoon, and she had a long distinguished stage, movie, and TV career. Tandy passed away in 1994 at the age of 85.
