JIMMY WALKER

James John Walker (better known as Jimmy Walker or Beau James) was mayor of New York from 1926 to 1932. He was forced to resign due to a corruption scandal. Bob Hope played him in the film Beau James which was loosely based on his life. Walker passed away in 1946 at the age of 65.
