RUTH ELDER

Ruth Elder was an aviatrix from the 1920s. She is perhaps most famous for replicating Charles Lindbergh's transatlantic flight, making the record for the longest distance flown by a woman. She appeared in two movies: Moran of the Marines and Glorifying the American Girl. She passed away in 1977 at the age of 75.
