CANADA LEE

Canada Lee was a black African American boxer from 1926 to 1930, and an actor from the 1930s to the 1950s. He refused to take stereotyped black roles, and thus his movie career was very limited. Some of his movies include: Cry the Beloved Country, Lifeboat, and Lost Boundries. He passed away in 1952 at the age of 45 of a heart attack.
