ROBERT WISE

Robert Wise was a legendary producer and director from the 1940s to the 2000s. Some of his movies include: I Want To Live (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), The Body Snatcher, The Set-Up, The Day the Earth Stood Still, The Sound of Music, and Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Not only did Mr. Wise work over many decades, but he worked in many different genres, and he excelled at all of them, something unusual for a top director! He passed away in 2005 at the age of 91.
