EDWARD HERRMANN

Edward Herrmann was an actor from the 1970s to the 2000s. Some of his movies include: The Purple Rose of Cairo, Frank Lloyd Wright, Annie (as FDR!), The Lost Boys, and the Paper Chase. In his later years, he found a major second career appearing in TV series, almost always as the dignified father of the lead character, including in HBO's "Oz" and "The Gilmore Girls". He passed away in 2014 at the age of 71.
