DAVEY LEE

Davey Lee (born David Lea) was a child actor from 1928 to 1930. He was four years old (with a Buster Brown haircut) when he was chosen to star opposite Al Jolson in "The Singing Fool", playing "Sonny Boy". That movie was followed by a sequel called "Sonny Boy". After just six movies, his mother made him "retire", so he could have a normal childhood! He passed away in 2008 at the age of 83.
