AMANDA BLAKE

Amanda Blake was an actress from the 1950s to the 1980s. She had limited success in movies starting in 1950, and she started doing some television, and in 1955, she was cast as "Miss Kitty" in TV's "Gunsmoke", and she played that part throughout the entire series until 1974! Some of her movies include: The Boost, A Star is Born, and Stars in my Crown. She passed away in 1989 from hepatitis brought on by AIDS (her husband was openly bisexual, and passed away from AIDS complications in 1985). She was 60 years old.
