MOIRA SHEARER
Moira Shearer was a Scottish actress from the 1940s to the 1960s. She is best remembered for her movies with Powell & Pressburger. Some of her movies include: Peeping Tom, The Tales of Hoffmann and The Red Shoes (where she played the lead role). She was cast in 1951's Hans Christian Andersen, which was intended to be her first Hollywood movie, but she had to drop out when she became pregnant (she would end up making only one U.S. movie, "The Story of Three Loves", in 1953).
