GENA ROWLANDS

Gena Rowlands was an actress from the 1950s to the 2020s. She was the wife of director John Cassavetes and the mother of director Nick Cassavetes. Some of her movies (many were her husband's!) include: A Woman Under The Influence (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Gloria (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Lonely Are the Brave, A Child is Waiting, and Faces. She passed away in 2024 at the age of 94.
