SAM SPIEGEL

Sam Spiegel was an Austro-Hungarian born (in what is now Poland) producer from the 1930s to the 1980s. Some of movies include: On the Waterfront (winner of the Best Picture Academy Award for this film), The Chase, The Bridge on the River Kwai (winner of the Best Picture Academy Award for this film), Lawrence of Arabia (winner of the Best Picture Academy Award for this film), Nicholas and Alexandra (nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award for this film) The Last Tycoon. He passed away in 1985 at the age of 84.
