FRANK COGHLAN JR.

Frank Coghlan Jr. (often billed as "Frank 'Junior' Coghlan" or simply "Junior Coghlan") was an actor from the 1920s to the 1960s. He started as a juvenile actor before he was a teen, and had great success in silent movies, but less success in sound films, although he continued acting until 1943, when he joined the Navy, and he made that his career for the next 23 years, but when he left the Navy, he resumed acting! Some of his movies include: The Sand Pebbles and Gone With the Wind. He is likely best remembered for playing Billy Batson, the boy who turns into Captain Marvel in "Adventures of Captain Marvel". He passed away in 2009 at the age of 93.
