CHARLOTTE HENRY

Charlotte Henry was an actress from the 1930s to the 1940s. She is best remembered for playing the lead in the 1933 live-action version of "Alice in Wonderland". Some of her other movies include: Babes in Toyland and Hearts in Bondage. She won the role of Alice in Wonderland (her first part) over 7,000 other applicants, in large part because she more closely resembled the original drawings of Alice than any of the others! She passed away in 1980 at the age of 66.
