As many of you know, I, Bruce Hershenson, owner of eMoviePoster.com, have collected pressbooks (and related movie paper like studio yearbooks) for over 30 years, and I have the world's foremost collection of such material. I thought I would share one item with you each week, the type of items you almost surely have never seen before, and which might not come up for sale for DECADES!

This week I have the pressbook from The Case of the Velvet Claws, the 1936 William Clemens courtroom lawyer legal crime thriller starring Warren William (as Perry Mason), Claire Dodd, Bill Elliott, Joe King, Wini Shaw, Dick Purcell, Olin Howland, and Eddie Acuff. Note that this was one of four Perry Mason movies that Warren William starred in. There were two other movies in the 1930s with other actors in the lead role, and then of course, there was the classic TV show from 1957 to 1966 with Raymond Burr playing Perry Mason.
