Important Added Info: NOTE THAT, AT FIRST GLANCE, THIS WOULD APPEAR TO BE A "SET" OF 6 STILLS, BUT IT IS ACTUALLY A SINGLE OVERSIZED STILL THAT CONTAINS SIX IMAGES! It only has (in tiny letters) the name of the movie, with copyright information and the 1980 date at the bottom left of the poster. Note that one might think this was a sheet of six uncut color stills that was intended to be cut, but because the copyright information is on the bottom left only, it seems impossible that it was intended to be cut, and instead was a really cool special poster! WE HAVE ONLY ONCE SOLD THIS POSTER BEFORE, which was in September of this year. When we auctioned it in September, a knowledgeable Star Wars collector told us that he has an example of this poster, and that he saw a Fox studio magazine that said that it was sent as part of a package along with a set of 16x20s, 11x14s, and 8x10s, and that the article said that 400 such packages were made. This is certainly interesting information, but if 400 were originally created, it does not alter the fact that the only ones surviving that we are aware of are a couple in private collections, the one we auctioned in September, and the one we are offering now (which comes to us from a different consignor than the one we received in September).
