50 Years of Movie Posters, the 1973 John Kobal 178-page English spiral bound book featuring information and images of classic Hollywood movie posters (from 1911 to 1964) with an introduction by David Robinson. Note that this was the very first book showing classic movie posters, and a HUGE number of major collectors got their start after seeing this book in 1973 or soon after! It wasn't until six years later that Steve Shapiro published his "The Movie Poster Book", and of course it was a decade after that that major auctions took an interest in movie posters. This book reproduced many scarce posters, some of which have been "buried" in collections ever since, and have never resurfaced to the present day! Note that approximately half the book is in full color, and that it includes a huge number of full page illustrations!

Important Added Info: Note that we have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and one or more interior 2-page spreads.

Condition: very good to fine. The book is in nice condition!
