On Record, the 1917 Robert Z. Leonard silent romantic mistaken identity crime melodrama ("May Murray in a powerful, original, photoplay"; "by John B. Clymer and Paul West"; about a country girl who moves to the big city and she is mistakenly arrested and booked, but then let go; but later she gets engaged, and a business rival of her fiance tries to use her "criminal record" to wreck the fiance's business, but she is able to explain everything in court!) starring Mae Murray, Tom Forman, Lucien Littlefield, Henry A. Barrows, and Charles Ogle. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster had tears and areas of paper loss on parts of many foldlines and some uneven darkening scattered in parts of the poster. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The person who backed the poster did not properly glue it to the linen, and it is "lifting" from the linen in one of the areas where two sections join and a few other places as well, and there is some paper loss in those areas. The poster absolutely needs additional restoration so that this likely one-of-a-kind poster can be preserved. This is a MAJOR defect, so bear this in mind before placing a bid on this poster.
